The Assets feature in Teamiy allows administrators to create, manage, and assign company assets to employees. This feature helps organizations track asset usage, monitor asset condition, and maintain proper records of company property.
Assets such as laptops, printers, furniture, and equipment can be easily managed and assigned to employees through this system.
Follow these steps to create a new asset:
Access your Teamiy admin panel.
Navigate to:
Asset Management → Assets → Add Asset

This will open the asset creation form.

Select the branch where the asset belongs.
Example:
Head Office
This helps organize assets according to company branches.
Select the asset type from the dropdown list.
Examples:
Laptop
Printer
This categorizes the asset for better management.
Enter the name of the asset.
Example:
Dell Laptop
HP Printer
This identifies the asset in the system.
Enter a unique asset code.
Example:
AST-001
LPT-1002
This helps in tracking and identifying assets.
Enter the serial number of the asset.
Example:
SN-987654
DL-456789
This ensures accurate asset identification and warranty tracking.
Select the purchase date of the asset.
Format:
dd/mm/yyyy
This helps maintain asset history and records.
Select warranty availability from the dropdown.
Options:
Yes
No
This helps track asset maintenance and service eligibility.
Select whether the asset is available for employee assignment.
Options:
Yes (Available for assignment)
No (Not available)
This controls whether employees can be assigned this asset.
Upload an image of the asset.
Supported formats:

This helps with asset verification and visual identification.
Enter additional details about the asset.
Example:
Brand new Dell laptop for office use
Printer purchased for the HR department
Office chair for management staff
This provides extra information for administrators.
Click Create Asset
